Ground: Whaddon Road
Capacity: 6,114
Last season: 1st Conference
Manager: Steve Cotterill

Chances: Two seasons of unparalleled and unexpected success have steered the homely Cotswolds side into the foothills of the Nationwide League - and they are determined to enjoy every minute. The Robins only scratched into the Conference as runners-up to Gresley Rovers two terms ago, the then winners' ground unable to comply with the move up. Enter Cheltenham. Under Steve Cotterill's tutelage they finished runners-up and won the FA Trophy. Then last season - bang - promotion to the professionals. Summer has seen several stalwarts decline to go pro', and while survival is the prime aim Cheltenham's core spirit may be enough to ensure more than just a quick flirtation amid the Nationwide arena.
One to Watch: Neil Grayson. Born in York and flourished with Rowntree FC. After making the grade with Doncaster had a brief spell with the Minstermen before distinguished duty with Northampton and Hereford. Last season's top scorer for the Robins with 27 goals.
Title odds: 20-1
