Ground: Brisbane Road
Capacity: 13,842
Last season: 6th
Manager: Tommy Taylor
Ins: Iyseden Christie striker from Mansfield on tribunal fee; Ashley Bayes goalkeeper from Exeter on a Bosman; Andy Harris defender from Southend, free; Josh Lowe midfielder from Bristol Rovers, free.
Outs: Danny Brown midfielder to Barnet on a free; Mark Stimson defender to Gillingham on trial; Chris McKenzie goalkeeper released; Craig Baker striker released; Junior McDougald striker released.
Chances: Wembley play-off losers, who are out to erase that woe by claiming outright promotion this time around. The feeling at Brisbane Road is that the squad has been strengthened rather than weakened, despite the high number of summer departures. Much will hinge on new recruit Iyseden Christie, attracted from Mansfield Town, where he flared as a forward of speed and stealth. If he hits it off with star French veteran Amara Simba there will be ample pleasing promise at the Orient.
One to watch: Amara Simba. Former French international forward, who has played alongside Cantona, Ginola, et al. Joined last October from Leon in Mexico. Though aged 36 capable of many a classy trick.
Title odds: 9-1.
