Born: York, February 22 1980. Hails from Middlesbrough and after attending the club's school of excellence signed on the youth training scheme in 1996. He turned professional two years later and made his first team debut at the start of the 1998/99 campaign. A skilful left sided player he made an immediate impact and was a virtual ever present last season attracting the attention of a number of senior clubs and had a spell training with Leeds United but has been troubled by personal problems this season and was sacked by the club.
