This happy group were whistling while they worked to raise cash for our Hospice 2000 Appeal among the Bank Holiday crowds in York
It wasn't a totally fairy tale beginning, as Snow White was reduced to an entourage of just five dwarfs as she set out round the city centre on a charity mission.
But despite two of the dwarfs not turning up for the start of their bed push from the Eye of York, the rest of the colourful cavalcade were soon making their way through the milling holiday crowds.
The students from York College were raising cash for the St Leonard's Hospice Millennium Appeal.
The push, whose three student organisers were Katherine Whitbourn-Hammond, Hannah Lewington and Sachiko Kurishina, was also intended to help them gain experience for a GNVQ advanced course in event management.
