Leeper Hare York and District League premier division champions Boroughbridge were knocked for six at Bishopthorpe on Saturday.
The 6-2 defeat came on top of having lost their previous match, an evening game, 1-0 to Dringhouses, John Laker scoring.
Bishopthorpe's speed and quick passing opened the Boroughbridge defence time and time again and Daz Miles and Adam Wood both fired in two goals.
The visitors worked hard to narrow the gap and Billy Holmes scored for them.
Bishopthorpe counter-attacked for Russ Pierce to net with a well taken goal, before striker Joe Garnham fired home their sixth.
Boroughbridge snatched a late second goal struck home by Neil Horner.
Huntington won 2-1 at home to a weakened Rufforth side in a close, tight game, and found themselves a goal down at half time, scored by Rob Sanderson.
It was a fast game with many chances created and missed by both sides.
Defender Paul Moss had to play in goal for Rufforth and distinguished himself well.
The visitors went into the lead, Rob Sanderson scoring a well taken goal. Rovers came back to equalise with a beauty, midfielder Pete Vest hitting a 30-yarder that gave the goalkeeper no chance.
Huntington then began to get on top and went in front with a goal by substitute Geordie Topping.
York Sugar won 2-1 at home to Old Malton in a match switched from Old Malton to the York Sugar ground.
Both sides were fully committed in an entertaining game, with constant end to end play and chances going astray.
Old Malton went ahead after 25 minutes, Darren Walker beating 'keeper Mark Howlett with a low drive after an attack down the left.
In the second half the Sugarmen had most of the early play, attacking their opponents' goal but without success.
Old Malton made quick breaks and on one of them Sugar's goalkeeper, Howlett, made a superb reflex save from close range.
The visitors equalised in the second half, Paul Barker netting a well-taken goal to make the game all square.
Keeping up the pressure, the Sugarmen took the lead when Joe Depa slotted the ball home to give them another three points.
