Reader's letter
Blue bridge - horrible blue. Any blue would be better than Mediterranean blue, even Alan Titchmarsh blue at a pinch.
Who chose it - the landscape architect of the Blue Bridge Viewpoint (nicely positioned under a tree never mind the root damage and limited vision)?
New bins good, new lamps good, Millennium Bridge promising if and when, but that blue - bright, garish, in your face.
We in the taste police need a good British blue, muted, discreet, quietly confident, one that doesn't cause risk to life and limb by having to cycle past with eyes closed.
Can anyone help?
Does anyone care?
