A Powerful display of darts earned Mick Nixon the York Brewery League individual competition crown.
Nixon began his awesome assault on the title with 14, 21 darts against Paul Brandon (Punch Bowl).
He then took out Chris Thompson (15) and he culminated with 14, 180 for 16 darts against fellow City Arms player Rich Plummer, who gave himself a chance by levelling in the second leg with 17 darts.
Plummer's path to the final included a splendid 17 and 20 darts to beat Britannia's Tony Cooper, who checked 142 for 15 darts to take the semi-final game to the decider.
City Arms added to their division one championship win by cleaning up all the competition trophies on offer.
Martyn Turner and Carole Layne won the Mixed Pairs shield 2-1.
Layne vitally checked out 71 then 94 finishes against Chris Thompson and Angie Hields after the Britannia duo had gone 1-0 up, Thompson crucially throwing a 180 score.
Britannia's Brian and Rich Hill took a close 2-1 semi-final pairs win against Burton Stone's Steve Simpson and Dave Binks to contest the final with Nixon and John Mooring who took the first 701 in 20 darts from Leeman's Gary Strider and Phil Smith.
Nixon collected the opener with a 100 finish then he and Mooring pounded the treble 20 to seal with 23 darts.
Mitre certainly had their hands full if indeed they were to lift the Triples trophy from Nixon, Mooring and Turner, three players well-used to contesting at county level.
Neil Long won with a splendid 19 darts against Nixon. John Smith and Gary Hardwick showed gallant resistance but in the end City Arms were just too consistent.
Their 5-1 result comprised 180 for 19 by Nixon, 21, 22 by Mooring and 24, 23 from Turner.
Cygnet are still joint top place in York Exhibition Hotel Group League division one leaders, but only by the skin of their teeth.
A bull check for 20 darts and big scoring by landlord Mick Lambert put Flag 4-2 ahead. Only then did Cygnet wake up, producing a flash of high scores to win the three pairs.
The decider was taken by Keith Turner and Mark Miller.
Shepherds managed to weathere Lighthorseman's early challenge, led by Mark Addinall, to win 6-3.
Rod Thompson shot a superb 16 darter which was well backed by Kev Walton (20), Chas Ramsden (21) and 180 scorer Mick Wilsden.
Dringhouses beat Slip 7-2 which included 20 darts from Derek Bell and 21 by Barry Noble, while Andy King settled Earswick's 6-3 against Green Tree 'A' within the singles.
Green Tree 'B' pegged a Poacher challenge with myself and Gary Scott tagging on the winner to good games by Gary Wensley (20) and Darren Hoban (21).
Poacher had 18 darts from Ray McInally whose Three Fastest Finishes competition tally is lowered to 52 (15, 18, 19).
Jack Hodgson and Steve Machen each recorded fine 19 dart wins to put Osbaldwick into a 4-2 lead. But Trafalgar had a splendid 180 for 17 from Ron Simpson onto which they added the three pairs, polished off by Paul Keers and Colin Rowntree.
Dave Coleburn and Shaun day made it 5-4 to Acorn at Waggon, while Pete Kiernan and Phil Pitman provided Sun 'B' the match winner against Saddle.
Paul Chappell was a maximum scorer for Railway Institute, but beaten by Shepherds 'B' for whom Alan Yates gamed in 21 darts.
Escrick SC are organising a doubles board individual competition on Easter Monday afternoon, with a £100, £50 and two £10 prize structure. Entry is £2, registration at 1.30pm for 2pm start.
