Hundreds of jugglers and musicians entertained amazed crowds on Saturday as they paraded through busy city centre streets.

Shoppers parted to let jugglers, clowns, unicyclists, circus performers and a juggling fancy dress cow make their way through Spurriergate, Coney Street, St Helen's Square and Lendal to the Museum Gardens.
Children and adults took part in the colourful parade with drums, whistles and tambourines setting the beat. Giant men on stilts accompanied child jugglers, people covered in face paint and hundreds juggling sticks and balls.
The parade was part of the 13th British Annual Juggling Convention taking place at the University of York.
