With regard to the drive-in cinema at Monks Cross, has no one given any thought to the amount of air pollution this must be causing. All those cars with their engines idling in order to keep their passengers warm.

It is my understanding the fumes from an idling engine are "dirtier" than those from one being driven.

The supermarket owners won't be concerned as long as they can bring in as many customers as possible to increase their already vast profits.
