Bettys & Taylors, of Harrogate the tea room, baker, confectioner and tea and coffee merchant, has qualified for Investors in People status for the fourth year in succession.
The company yesterday celebrated its success at being one of the first organisations to requalify so many times with a special cake created at Bettys Craft Bakery and a cup of Yorkshire tea.
IIP-approved assessor John Taylor scrutinised the family business for three days and then concluded: "Simply amazing!"
Andrew Mindenhall, Bettys & Taylors' human resources manager, said: "It's only through dedicated teamwork that the standards can be achieved. This is an award we can all be proud of."
