Their love has conquered every obstacle that fate threw in their path.John and Susan have never let disability disbar them from leading active lives.They were overjoyed by the arrival of baby Anna but bringing up a child could not have been easy. Their continuing closeness reflects the way they have all looked after one another. The Sears are quite a family.
