Dee Pee Tee Cee returns to action at Wetherby tomorrow after an 11-week break and is napped to regain the winning thread on a card sponsored by the Racing Channel, who will also be providing televised coverage of the meeting.

Trained by Mick Easterby, who is enjoying his best jumping season for many years, Dee Pee Tee Cee goes for the concluding two-miles handicap hurdle and, with Tony Dobbin in the saddle, can show his class in a largely modest affair.

A four lengths winner at Doncaster on his reappearance in early December, Dee Pee Tee Cee was a beaten odds-on favourite on his next outing at Newcastle, but had the misfortune on that occasion to come up against the quirky, but talented Supreme Fortune on one of his best days.

Dee Pee Tee Cee has plenty of weight to concede tomorrow, but the six-year-old, a prolific winner on the Flat and an altogether admirable money-spinner, can add this prize to his bulging tally.

The Racing Channel Live At Wetherby Handicap Hurdle offers Home Counties the chance to record an overdue success.

Now in the twilight of his career at the age of 11, this former Cheltenham Festival winner has turned in two good performances this season for Norton trainer James Hetherton, including when finishing third to the useful Patras at Newcastle recently.

With Russ Garritty again in the saddle, Home Counties can make a bold bid to get his name back on the scoresheet.

The £10,000 Tote 376 On Racing Channel Text Showcase Handicap Chase is the feature race on the card and looks a good opportunity for No More Hassle to return to the winning groove.

Mary Reveley's charge is a consistent campaigner, but is not the easiest horse in the world to win with. He is, though, in excellent heart right now and, following a good second-placed effort at Huntingdon last week, he is fancied to go one better here.

Tim Easterby has significantly engaged Peter Ryan, Jimmy FitzGerald's smart claiming jockey, to partner Semi Circle in the opening novices' hurdle and Ryan's 5lb allowance could well prove crucial.

Semi Circle has enjoyed a splendid first season over hurdles, winning twice - hence her double-penalty tomorrow - and making the frame in all three of her other races.

She looks sure to go well here, especially with Ryan reducing her burden.

The promising Devonshire (2.30) and the useful Anna Karnali (3.00) are also worth noting at the A1 course, as is the hat-trick-seeking Red Ark (4.35).

Much further south at Chepstow, Shotgun Willy can extend his unbeaten sequence to four in the St David's Day Prestige Novices' Hurdle, the richest race of the day with £16,000 up for grabs.

Trained by Paul Nicholls, Shotgun Willy completed his hat-trick in fine style at Uttoxeter earlier this month when beating Hopeful by a decisive 12 lengths.

A progressive performer, still very much on the upgrade, Shotgun Willy will be hard to beat here.
