Gary Barlow used to be quite famous. He was in Take That, a popular boy band of the Nineties, but when he left to pursue his solo career nothing more was heard of him.

These days Gary is best known for being a former mate of Robbie Williams.

Now he is attempting to make a public comeback with an acting role in Heartbeat.

He has gone from performing in front of an adulatory crowd at Wembley to bashing out tunes on the Aidensfield Arms' piano.

As Gary once memorably sang: Everything Changes.
