I must say that I have been enjoying Allan Clews' column. Each week, I log on to the Internet to read the latest.
The sour, children-hating-neighbour scenario was particularly funny ('Feud For Thought', January 28). Sad in a way, but funny. Bravo for Clews, a man who is obviously well-educated, who elects to help his children have a good start in life, lightening the load, so their bread-winner mother can do just that: support the family and pursue her academic career.
Flexibility within families is sometimes necessary, and great, if you can adapt beyond the norm. I look forward to future columns.
