Scarborough face a threat to their unbeaten run and record number of blank returns at Telford United's fortress tomorrow.
The inform Seasiders travel to Buck's Head in good spirits after recording the best defensive run in the Nationwide Conference for 12 months, extending their series of successive shut-outs to six with last Saturday's 3-0 win over Northwich Victoria.
The run was last bettered by 1998-99 champions Cheltenham Town (seven games) in January last year and Boro's 'keeper Andy Woods has now gone ten hours and five minutes without conceding a Conference goal. He also kept blanks in the club's two FA Umbro Trophy ties earlier this month.
However, despite Telford being held to a goalless draw at home to struggling Southport in midweek, that blank return was enough to extend Telford's unbeaten home record to seven matches.
Their away form is in stark contrast, however. Alan Lewer's side have now completed a year without recording a travelling success in the Conference and are one of only three sides in senior football yet to win on the road this season, with Coventry City and Cambridge United completing the trio.
Telford's top scorer of last season, Scott Huckerby, brother of Leeds striker Darren, is out of Saturday's match and for another nine months after damaging his cruciate ligaments.
Harrogate Town, who have been ordered to replay their FA Trophy third round tie with Spennymoor on Tuesday, travel to Accrington Stanley in the UniBond first division.
Eighth-placed Town will be looking to close the gap on fifth placed Stanley, who are five points ahead but have just sold their ace marksman and top scorer Gary Williams to Doncaster Rovers for a club record £60,000.
They will also want revenge after being well beaten by Accrington 2-0 when the sides clashed at Wetherby Road back in September.
Despite the loss of Williams, Stanley were the only division one side to progress to the semi-finals of the UniBond league's premier cup competition - The Challenge Cup - last weekend when they beat Belper Town 2-1.
In the Northern Counties East League premier division, Selby Town play host to fifth-place and title chasers Glasshoughton Welfare buoyed by their 3-1 win over Staveley in midweek and their 5-2 weekend triumph over bottom club Harrogate Railway Athletic.
Railway also have home advantage for their clash with Garforth Town and are in desperate need of a win.
Five points adrift at the bottom they have a game in hand on Buxton but are then eight points behind third from bottom Eccleshill who, in turn, have four games in hand on Railway.
In division one of the NCEL, Pickering Town welcome Hall Road Rangers to Malton Road.
Pikes boss Jimmy Reid welcomes back midfielder Joe Connor and defender Phil O'Reilly, who were both unavailable for last week's 1-0 defeat at Winterton Rangers. O'Reilly was on representative duty with North Riding Under-19s.
Reid admitted tomorrow's match was yet another big game for his side. "They are all big games in this league, there are no easy matches," he conceded. "But I am just hoping we can carry on from where we left off in our last home game when we beat Borrowash Victoria."
Lowly Tadcaster Albion have an immediate chance to gain revenge when they travel to Pontefract Collieries.
Pontefract won 1-0 at Tadcaster last Saturday but third from bottom Albion remain in touching distance of teams above them.
Over the last couple of weeks manager Wayne Day has released Paul Cawthorne and Earl Gray while Mark Fenton has joined Glasshoughton.
They have boosted their squad with the addition of defender Paul James from Harrogate, Thackley midfield pair Lee Maguire and Darren Hunter, Gareth Rhodes from Selby and former Tadcaster striker Darren Wilson, who has re-joined them from York RI.
Glen Littlewood missed last week's defeat with a groin strain but is expected to return in defence tomorrow.
Clash of the day sees runaway leaders Goole, some nine points clear of second-place, travel to take on third-placed Worsbrough Bridge Miners Welfare.
In the Northern Youth Academy, New Earswick Under-19s' bid to keep their league and cup double hopes alive at Pontefract Collieries.
The two sides are due to clash in the NYA League Cup final in Match, after New Earswick booked their place in the final with a 2-1 extra-time win over Eccleshill last week.
Adam Wash continued his fine run of form bagging his 23rd and 24th goals of the season.
Looming large for the teenagers is possible make or break fixture with league leaders Doncaster Rovers coming up in two weeks time.
Rovers head the table by three points from New Earswick.
