Evening Press Reader's Letter
Who was responsible for devising the dreadful new queueing system at reception in the outpatients department of York District Hospital?
The furniture is arranged in such a way that those arriving at reception have to queue in the only clear path between the main entrance and the outpatients clinics.
The waiting area itself has become very cluttered and cramped.
The new system seems to me to be much less efficient than the old one and, if nothing else, it makes life more awkward for those in wheelchairs.
Richard Greaves,
Morehall Close,
York.
