Sahara Reem, who unseated her jockey at the final hurdle when challenging for the lead at Sedgefield a fortnight ago, returns to the same course tomorrow with excellent prospects of gaining deserved compensation.

The John Norton-trained six-year-old goes for the Racing Channel Mares Only 'National Hunt' Novices' Hurdle and will again be partnered by Derek Byrne.

Sahara Reem, a Sedgefield winner two outings ago, looked likely to complete a double on her latest start. But, after moving through to make a strong challenge at the final flight, she blundered and gave Byrne little chance of remaining on board as Poachers Run went on to score from Desert Sand.

Well worth another chance, Sahara Reem can get back to winning ways tomorrow.

Lisdante has solid claims in the three miles and three furlongs maiden chase.

The seven-year-old, formerly trained in Ireland, is now with Sue Smith at Bingley and performed well over this course and distance earlier in the month when runner-up to easy winner Carrick Troop.

Although the smart winner was far too good that day, Lisdante ran an honourable race to lead home the remainder.

Cypress Avenue, who is nothing if not consistent can defy top weight in the Racing Channel & Sport of Kings Handicap Hurdle over three miles and three furlongs.

A course and distance winner, Val Ward's gelding went down by six lengths to Coolree Lord at Catterick last time, but was attempting to give the winner no less than 22 lb.

Royal Hand is expected to run a big race in the Racing Channel Selling Hurdle.

A winner at Leicester three outings ago, the ten-year-old ran a decent race to finish third at Catterick last time over a trip short of his best. Tomorrow's extra two furlongs should be right up his street and he is awarded the Nap vote.

While meetings at Southwell are usually Flat fixtures on the sand course, tomorrow's action is confined to jumping on the turf.

Recent winner Dare looks the one to be on in the King Henry V Handicap Hurdle with Richard Johnson - who was on board the successful Rowington at Wetherby yesterday - in the saddle.
