With regard to the proposed White Rose landmark at Bishop Wilton, my husband and I, as occupiers of a property with a front view across to the spot where the rose is to be sited, would be pleased to see this as a permanent feature.
The present temporary rose is indistinct and cannot be recognised from a distance but we would hope that the permanent rose would be quite clearly discernible.
