It is often said that the three most important points about a property are location, location, location. This is something that York council seemed to be unaware of regarding the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride Site. Pool is a godsend
I am writing to protest at the suggested closure of Yearsley Swimming Pool. Although Yearsley may be in need of renovation, it is the only pool within walking distance of the Clifton, Bell Farm and Gillygate/Clarence Street areas. Waste of space

Now that St Helena has been banished from the York Millennium scene may I make another suggestion please? A bus station. York has been lagging behind her tourism competitors for years, the only large tourist centre without a bus station.
