Tickets for the York Millennium Mystery Plays can from today be bought in person at the box office at St William's College in York.
This is good news for local theatre-lovers who will not want to miss out on what promises to be a theatrical highlight of the year. For the first time, the Mystery Plays will be performed in the Minster - a union that brings together two potent images of York.
Some letter writers to this newspaper have complained that York did not properly mark the Millennium. The Mystery Plays should help to answer that charge.
