In your review '1999 in letters' (Evening Press, January 6), I was obviously interested to note that I was your most prolific councillor correspondent. However, Graeme Robertson's paragraph begins 'A year without national or local elections reduced correspondence...'
In the interests of accuracy, could I point out that your edition of May 7, 1999 tells a different story and indeed carries the results of Labour's win in the York local elections.
This small matter aside, I hope the Evening Press continues to provide an open and thorough platform for debate in the city in this New Year.
