Evening Press Reader's Letter
Yet again the City of York Council's actions bring to mind a sentence involving the words "organise" and "brewery".
Given the numbers of tourists clogging up York's streets, why is it that residents are to be fleeced to make up for the council's budget deficit?
If the council is to make savings, the councillors can look first at their own allowances, then they can look at how to extract more money from the hordes of tourists who visit the city.
