What a shame York did not throw a big party
What a great pity that York didn't have an event to mark the first moments of the Millennium. Good Samaritan
We wish to thank whoever called an ambulance to our 14-year-old son in Grape Lane, York, very early on New Year's Day. He had apparently collapsed there after becoming separated from a group of friends taking part in the Millennium celebrations near the Minster. Park 'n' Ride problem
I am writing as a confused resident of Clifton Moor. Following various council initiatives suggesting we use public transport - my only mode of transport into York - I began taking the bus to work every morning, along with many others. Rip-off back-fired

I endorse David Hughes' view (Letters, December 23) that the public should take the opportunity to attend York Primary Care Group Board meetings. We would always welcome members of the public and those representing local organisations or groups.
