Mary Reveley, who has saddled a remarkable seven winners with her last seven runners and who completed a fantastic four-timer at Musselburgh yesterday, heads to Catterick tomorrow with an excellent chance of enjoying further glory.

The Saltburn trainer was due to have five runners at the North Yorkshire course this afternoon as she attempted to extend her unbeaten run, which started at Catterick when Tom's River scored on New Year's Eve.

Sad Mad Bad and Merry Masquerade, her only two runners at Uttoxeter on New Year's Day, also duly obliged, while yesterday at Musselburgh she was on the mark with Chaos Theory, Linea-G, Harfdecent and Riviere at combined odds of 138-1.

Whatever Reveley's fortunes at Catterick this afternoon, she should be among the winners tomorrow, with Carrick Troop looking very much like Nap material in the Ilkley Handicap Chase.

This former pointer opened his account under Rules with a runaway win at Market Rasen on Boxing Day and looks capable of defying the 7lb penalty he has picked up for that convincing victory. Alan Dempsey again has the mount.

Reveley and Dempsey can also score with Highbank in the Leeds Handicap Hurdle.

Although not the most trustworthy of horses, Highbank is pretty effective when he is able to make the running, as he proved at Musselburgh last month when he gained a pillar-to-post victory in selling company.

He has more on his plate tomorrow but Highbank could take some catching around this sharp track - plus he has the advantage of coming from a stable in unstoppable form.

Noshinannikin has strong claims in the Wakefield Novices Chase.

Mick Easterby's gelding got off the mark at his first attempt over fences at Hexham and then finished a respectable third at Wetherby. He can get back on top tomorrow in the hands of Tony Dobbin.

Norman Conquest is fancied to complete a quick course double in the W L And Hector Christie Memorial Trophy Novices' Handicap Chase.

Mickey Hammond's six-year-old won here over the same distance of two miles on New Year's Eve and, even with a 7lb penalty, he looks capable of obliging again tomorrow.

Top amateur Paul Flynn looks a significant booking for Native Caption in the Huddersfield Standard National Hunt Flat Race, and Thomas Tate's newcomer is one to watch in the betting market.

At Taunton, Just Jasmine is worthy of plenty of respect as she returns to action in the featured £10,000 Tote Placepot Showcase Handicap Chase.

Kevin Bishop's mare proved a revelation over fences last season, winning her last three races. From a stable which as recently enjoyed a return to form. Just Jasmine, who has gone well fresh in the past, can overcome her lengthy absence by returning to action in a blaze of glory.

Also worth noting is the progressive Melling in the Paddock Bar Sloe Gin Novices' Handicap Chase. Ron Hodges' charge is already a winner over this course and distance.
