We wish to thank whoever called an ambulance to our 14-year-old son in Grape Lane, York, very early on New Year's Day. He had apparently collapsed there after becoming separated from a group of friends taking part in the Millennium celebrations near the Minster.
The care, consideration and prompt action by the unknown Good Samaritan(s) meant our son came to no further harm and has now fully recovered, with the excellent help of the Ambulance Service and York District Hospital's casualty department.
Many thanks to everyone involved.
