Kitkat has been a favourite chocolate snack in Britain for as long as most people can remember.
Nowadays just being popular isn't any guarantee of success, as modern businesses have to adapt to survive.
So all praise to Nestl for the success of KitKat Chunky, which has helped push sales of KitKat as a whole to record levels by breaking the £250 million barrier.
By putting a modern spin on an established product, Nestl has found a way of combining the old and new to winning effect.
It has also produced a new bar which some say is even better than the well-loved original.
