With copycat futility a fortune is again being spent on a Christmas drink-driving campaign.
The Government should have gone ahead with their plan to reduce the permitted alcohol level for drivers. Bring back Barbara Castle, the last Transport Minister to take seriously the thousands of deaths on our roads every year.
Her successors often talked about a good case, got cold feet, and settled for tinkering.
