Evening Press Reader's Letter
With regard to the recent correspondence about the Christmas crib in York may I, as a member of the York Council 95 of the Knights of St Columba, set the record straight.
The crib used to be placed every year in the moat at Station Rise but it was vandalised and resited under the St Martin-le-Grand clock in Coney Street.
To forestall any premature comments about the missing Infant, He will be placed in the crib on Christmas Eve at 11am at a carol service led by the Right Reverend Humphrey Taylor, the Bishop of Selby.
Stan Warren,
Tilmire Close,
