The Channel 4 series, Kid In The Corner, has provoked a lot of discussion and it was good to see the letters and articles in the Evening Press last week.
The more discussion about this illness and the effect it has on the families who struggle with it, the better.
It is my hope that the parents of children with any hyperactivity are to really be offered a full "range of therapies" as mentioned by Dr Mike Porte in Coping with the Kid In The Corner (Evening Press, December 1).
Many people are recognising the place that paediatric acupuncture can play in helping children with ADHD and other hyperactivity complaints.
There is strong evidence that this ancient medical art can be very useful as a part of the range of approaches to such a modern illness.
