A York woman appeared topless in front of 73,000 fans at Wembley during Monday's Division One play-off final has been charged by London's Metropolitan Police.
Claire Holtby, 31, who is unemployed and lives in Cranbrook Road, Acomb, was charged with going on to the playing area of the pitch, an offence under the Football Offences Act.
Ms Holtby had to be covered by security officials and marched from the ground after she streaked at half- time during the game, which saw Watford promoted to the Premiership after beating Bolton Wanderers 2-0.
Ms Holtby had emerged from the Watford supporters' end of the stadium, pulled off her top and ran to the halfway line before being rugby-tackled to the ground.
She was followed by a male Watford supporter during the second half, who ran on to the pitch wearing a bowler hat on his head and carrying a feather.
