For one night the old enmity towards our rivals from the other side of the Pennines can be put to one side.
United are striving to restore some pride to English football.
It has been 15 years since one of our teams took the top club trophy. Another triumph is long overdue. So stop gritting those teeth and cheer Alex Ferguson's boys to victory tonight.
