I WAS a bit surprised that you devoted any space to the Leery Comments To Students story (Evening Press, May 11).
Builders have always shouted and wolf-whistled at females - it's part of life and the students concerned are very lucky if this is all they have to whinge about.
These people who can't deal with a few leery comments are our next generation who will be running the country and making decisions for the rest of us.
Goodness only knows how these sad, politically correct people will cope when they have to leave their mummies and go out into the big nasty world.
