We are all being encouraged to get out of our cars and onto public transport. But in York, that's easier said than done.
Rail travellers consulting the latest timetable would find themselves waiting a long time for the Eurostar service listed there. Not everything in black and white makes sense, as anyone following that timetable would find to their cost.
Meanwhile, bus passengers cannot even find their bus stops and shelters. Their sudden disappearance has left them bemused.
Cars cause congestion and pollution. But at least drivers know when and where to find them.
