I would like to thank your readers for their generous support of two major events which the National Meningitis Trust has been involved in. Firstly, our Kenco National Coffee Morning which was held in March has almost reached it target of raising £150,000.
There were 15 coffee mornings held in North Yorkshire.
Secondly, the Trust was delighted to have a record 300 runners in the 1999 Flora London Marathon in April. Our intrepid runners raised more than £130,000.
