Regarding Carl Manning's unkind remarks about Sir Cliff Richard appearing at various sporting venues (Letters, April 8), we are replying to say why shouldn't Cliff be asked to sing at Wimbledon, Wembley and Davis Cup?
He is extremely well liked and is a great British institution to the music industry and also for his charitable work.
So let's hope he sings at sporting venues in the future.
