NAME the Wasp. That is the challenge for Evening Press readers as York Wasps' new mascot buzzes into action for the first time at tomorrow's home clash with Bramley.
Can you think of a name for the wasp?
Fans are being asked to come up with a suitable name for the character, pictured, at Huntington Stadium, which joins the likes of Doncaster's Donny the Dragon and Keighley's Freddie Cougar in the growing list of Premiership mascots.
The suggestions will be judged by club officials and the provider of the winning entry will receive a prize pack including a signed Wasps kit.
All entries should be send to: Wasps Mascot Competition, Sportsdesk, Evening Press, 76-86 Walmgate, York YO1 9YN. The closing date is Challenge Cup final day, May 1.
