I would really appreciate the help of local historians and readers who may be able to help me compile and account of certain branches of this family.

The widow of Henry Bourchier, 2nd Earl of Eu and also of Essex, Ann, Baroness of Bourchier, had several children who were made illegitimate by Act of Parliament in 1542. What happened to these children and what were their names?

John Bourchier, the 2nd Baron de Berners, had a number of children, the eldest being James Bourchier of Beningbrough. He had several children of which I know very little. I believe his daughter, Elizabeth, married Oliver Cromwell. One of his sons or grandsons was Sir John Bourchier the Regicide judge who signed the death warrant of Charles I.

Can anyone tell me about the Bourchiers of Beningbrough, and in particular the descendants of James Bourchier?
