Beleagured York City have suffered a fresh blow.
On-loan defender Matthew Hocking, who made such an impressive impact in his first start as a Minsterman against Luton Town in midweek, is out of Saturday's visit of Millwall.
The 21-year-old Hocking serves a one-match ban for suspensions totalled at Hull City from where he came to Bootham Crescent on deadline day until the end of the season.
Said City boss Neil Thompson: "We were aware the ban was coming up, but it's a blow as Matt did ever so well against Luton. He is a good distributor of the ball and has got good pace."
City's other deadline-day capture Craig Skinner is also doubtful for the Millwall tussle after he was injured in last night's Pontin's League 2-1 defeat away to Lincoln City.
Skinner suffered a gash in a shin that needed several stitches and will likely join injured defenders Andy McMillan and Martin Reed on the absentee list.
City performed well at Sincil Bank, but like Luton, suffered the anguish of a last-minute goal to deprive them of a point. City's scorer was Neil Tolson.
