I was very pleased to see David Pearcy's letter, (March 29) regarding the Government's New Right to Roam legislation.
I support his remarks. He endorses all the problems which we face as owners of private land. I cannot emphasise too strongly that the Right to Roam is on open land and established footpaths only. The continuing use of the term Right to Roam without qualification is causing confusion and will increase an already serious problem of trespass on private land.
