WHY is it that those who favour ever closer co-operation within the European Union seem to think that it is only possible to get on with the other 14 members if we always agree with their ideas and policy aims?
It is vital that Britain stands steadfastly against EU policy that is not favourable to the interests of Britain. The other 14 look after themselves and we must do the same.
Has New Labour ever thought how many British people do not want to be part of a Federal Europe? Thank goodness Paddy Ashdown is leaving, his Pro EU stance was immensely dangerous.
