IF letters have really been "streaming in" to the Evening Press to object to the cycle path across Walmgate Stray, I am sure this will be part of a river of support for the path.
You report concerns for the quiet, safety and cleanliness of the stray. All of these are affected much more by dogs than by cyclists, but who would want to stop the people of York exercising their dogs on the stray? The path will be a healthy, quiet, pollution-free addition to the amenities of a city with a great cycling tradition.
