Are you lonesome tonight ? If so then tune into The Vanessa Show tomorrow when York's full-time Elvis impersonator Eddie Vee appears on BBC 1.
Elvis impersonater, Eddie Vee, from York, holds up a photograph of Vanessa Feltz, who he will be appearing with on BBC1 tomorrow
The show from 9.45am features Eddie in his Vegas-style white cat-suit singing All Shook Up before performing a scheduled duet of The Wonder Of You with none other than Engelbert Humperdinck himself.
The programme, hosted by Vanessa Feltz, is timed to commemorate what would have been Elvis Presley's 65th birthday had he not died on August 16, 1977.
Eddie Vee has been singing Elvis songs since he was a child and has won talent contests from the age of 11.
The 38-year-old singer holds the world record for the most Elvis songs performed in 12 hours, a staggering 228 set in 1994.
Eddie's wife, Jane, is set to be asked what it is like to live with an Elvis nut like Eddie.
Eddie explained that he has a large collection of Elvis memorabilia, although he was not allowed to create a shrine as so many other fans have done. In fact Jane does not allow him to have any Elvis stuff on view.
Jane is an Elvis fan herself. The couple hope to go to Graceland, Elvis's home, in four years' time for the 25th anniversary of his death, but she cannot cope with the all-day Elvis video sessions that Eddie often indulges in.
The Elvis wannabe said: "I am quite nervous about appearing on the show, especially about what my lovely wife will say. It should be good fun and I am looking forward to it, particularly the party after the show."
After the show, Eddie will be flying back up to York to appear, again as part of the celebration of Elvis' s would-be birthday, at The Magpie public house, Penley Grove Street, with Whitby's female Elvis, Enid Butler.
