Once again another family pet has been killed so that the hunting fraternity can carry on with its barbaric sport (Evening Press, December 28).
What will it take to ban hunting with hounds, do you not think it has caused enough damage and heartache to people?
One day a child will be taking its pet for a walk and a hunt will come along and attack the pet, then there will be a public outcry to ban hunting with hounds.
Why do we always wait until something really tragic happens before we do anything about it?
Please can all the readers write to Mr Blair expressing their concern. It only takes a few minutes to write a few words, and costs the price of a stamp.

...Those who hunt say it is an effective means of keeping the fox population down. I do not know about this so I cannot really comment. And I am aware of the damage that foxes can do.
What I strongly object to is the hunters enjoy doing what they do - it is a sport - and to enjoy seeing something quite barbaric makes me question human nature.
An apology from the Sinnington Hunt to the owner of the cat is really not good enough.
Members of the Sinnington Hunt why not show yourselves and speak out for your sport - be interviewed by the radio and the press and have your faces shown?
