When, oh when, will someone take the bull by the horns and sort out the chaos at the entrance to York District Hospital?
Any weekday you will find a complete shambles of ambulances, taxis and private cars, all of whom have a right and a need to be there. But surely someone can come up with a scheme to ease the congestion, which, at times, backs right to the main road.
The time has come to build a multi-storey car park on the existing park site, thus freeing the small park immediately in front of the hospital entrance for better use.
A multi-storey doesn't need to be ugly.
