The deadly sin of envy is something with which I am not usually afflicted. Your new columnist - The Millennium Dame - has changed all that.
Not content to appear in Friday Night Fever, her glittering presence filtered through to the main Evening Press (November 27) when she was pictured, front page, with that nice Barrass boy at the switch on of York's lovely festive lights.
I'm as jealous of the Dame's brand of drop-dead gorgeous glamour as she is of our beloved Lord Mayor's jewellery.
Millennium Dame will not upstage me for long, though, with her lip gloss and fancy feather boas.
I intend wearing mine to razzle-dazzle unsuspecting afternoon tea takers at the Theatre Royal caf bar quite soon.
