I was heartened to read 'RAF Slights War Dead' (Letters, November 20) and find that I am not the only person in the York and surrounding area annoyed by the "droning and diving" noise pollution caused by the Tucano aircraft from RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
Since being met with condescension from the Community Relations Officer, I have recently contacted my MP for support in making the RAF responsible to those who have to suffer these trainer flights.
I suggest that others who feel the same contact their MP and register their feelings with the RAF.
If sufficient pressure is applied, the RAF may have to take a more caring and responsible approach to the communities they aggravate.
