A recent article reported on the twinning arrangements between the City of York and its twin towns (Evening Press, November 19).
As secretary of the Royal Air Forces Association (York Branch) I can report that we are engaged in correspondence with the Association Nationale des Sous-Officiers de Reserve de L'Armee de L'Air (ANSORRA for short), our counterparts in Dijon, France, with a view to twinning the two associations. It is envisaged that a group of our members will be visiting Dijon in early June. Some of us are willing to reach out to our twin cities.
If any serving or ex-RAF personnel are interested in this trip, contact me at our branch headquarters, 3-5 Aldwark, York, Y01 2BX.
John Sutherland,
Honorary Secretary,
RAFA (York Branch).
