In your coverage of the opening of the new 'designer outlet' your reporters repeatedly referred to the shopping centre being 'at Naburn'.
Only one small corner of the car park lies within the parish of Naburn with most of it being in Fulford. By car, the site is closer to the city walls than it is to this village.
The only remote association the site has with Naburn is with the former hospital which had its access via Naburn Lane. But now even that access has moved to the A19. So please no more 'at Naburn' nonsense.
As a local paper, try to get details right and not encourage hordes of shoppers to come traipsing through the village looking for designer clothes.
