It seems to be such a retrograde step to be thinking of adding fluoride to our water supply. I firmly believe that (in most cases) teeth can last for life, if they are properly cared for and our diet is correct.
To prove this point I am able to mention my own grandmother and dad who both retained full sets of healthy teeth all their lives. Surely if they could manage it we should be able to?
There is no quick fix or easy answer though - it all boils down to educating children and common sense.
