Three new partners and three new associates have been announced by Langleys Solicitors' practice which has bases in York and Lincoln.

The appointments come in the wake of another record year for Langleys which saw it placed in the top two per cent of UK practices according to the Legal 500.

Roger Taylor, Peter Lowe and Kate Saunders have been appointed partners; Helen Brown, Ian Pryer and David John become associates.

Mr Taylor heads the firm's growing commercial department, Mr Lowe is head of the firm's family department in York and Kate Saunders is head of the family department at Lincoln's Silver Street office. Both she and Mr Lowe recently completed their training as family law mediators. Appointed associates are Helen Brown, a member of the practice's successful insurance litigation department, Ian Pryer, head of Yorlk's plaintiff personal injury department and David John who specialises in civil litigation.
